I'm wondered why no one hadn't yet started topic about this series, one of most popular Disney TV shows. I was six old when seen it first time. That was in USSR at 1991. Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers were aired on Sundays at 6.10 PM paired with Duck Tales, which was my favourite series. But most people, childrens and adults, liked Rangers. In Soviet Union old Disney shots were never shown, except some 30s classics, so nobody knowed Chip and Dale in their "native" look, and their names quickly became a synonym of rescuers. Sometimes you can hear phrases like "to go rescue as Chip 'n Dale". Of course, Gadget is most popular character among our viewers, but I personally most of all remembered Monterey Jack and his cheese attacks. Monty was named in Russian adaptation Roquefort or simply Rocky and very funny voiced by Vsevolod Abdulov. And Gadget's name in Russian was Gaika, what means screw-nut. Thirteen episodes unshown in 1991 were dubbed in 2005 by different stusio and that dubbing is very lame. But I still love Rescue Rangers for their brigh emotions and unforgottable feelings which has bringed this series to my childhood. Thahks very much to all creators of Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers!

Thank you, Kit Lee! I'm very pleased with your kindness. But I'm from Ukraine, not Russia. When both Ukraine and Russia were parts of Soviet Union, then was shown CDRR. Some year after end of USSR we also could watch TV from Moscow. At 1992 on First Channel were shown Gummi Bears and TaleSpin (only 26 episodes, then were coming Duck Tales season two). At 1993 Disney show was moved to Russia 2nd Channel and that year were aired New Adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh and Darkwing Duck, next year (1994) - Goof Troop and The Little Mermaid, and at the end of year Duck Tales season three. After this airing of Russian TV in Ukraine was stopped. All these Disney series were excellent dubbed by Russian actors, known by their roles in Soviet cartoons. They also are often criticized as certain symbol of "American cultural invasion", because after USSR fall our native animation was ruined and we had nothing to compare. I think, TaleSpin and Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers are best series by Walt Disney Television Animation. Walter Elias Disney could be proud of them.

Really, Gadget is very lovable character. And smart as well. I visit Russian CDRR site, when many people leave their drawings and even verses dedicated Rescue Rangers and Gadget. In my childhood favourite characters were Chip and Monty. I every time laughed watching Monty's cheese attacks. And Chip attracted me as leader of the Rangers. I understand that I never could be like Chip. But now I associate myself with Dale. I really have some shared properties with this character. I usually go to bed very late, like Dale, I don't like house working and I'm huge fan of SF. But it's very pity that I cannot enjoy my life as Dale can. I may to learn this from Dale.

Used to have a crush on Gadget, haha. I got into this since it reminded me of The Littles and American Tail which I both loved.

Ah, Rescue Rangers Brilliant One of my first memories of watching TV is actually watching Gadget Hackwrench confront some evil aliens (for years I thought it was Chip!) in the episode Dale Beside Himself! Such fond memories I fell in love with this brilliant show during a 1998 repeat and it will always hold a special place in my heart! Plus Gadget Hackwrench = LEGEND My first heroine, brilliant stuff!

Awesome show! i grew up with it since i was 7 when it first aired as a pilot on the disney channel on March of 1989 and i became a fan since i have adored Gummi Bears, Wuzzles and Ducktales and this was a great follow-up.
I even had some merchandise like t-shirts, a few PVC toys, the video game and curtains with coloring books and lunchbox. I always loved the Chip and Dale cartoons since i was little and nice to see them get their own show.
I had a major crush on Gadget for she was cute as hell
