I did back in 1986 when i was 5 years old living in San Diego! i saw it 3 times and had some merchandise like stuffed basil, coloring books and one of those readalong books with cassettes including the soundtrack on cassette.
I was sad it never came out on video the next year but still had good memories then it came back in 92 and i saw it in theaters at 10 going on 11 and it was about time it came out on video. I bought it the first day with paper route money.

If I ever did, I certainly don't remember it, and I have a great memory. I don't think I did, I was born in December of 1986. I don't even remember having it on VHS as a kid, though I did buy a used copy later on. It's a good film though!

I guess you saw the 92 re-issue in theaters. I also had the hots for Miss Kitty Mouse, the stripper at ages 5 and 10.
