After 6 years of waiting, Disney finally decided to release the last DVD set of TaleSpin in the USA!!! And it's AVAILABLE NOW!
It might not be easy to get it, though, this is a Disney Movie Club exclusive, meaning that you must be a member to see it listed.
If you live outside of USA, you're out of luck (registration isn't possible), and you'll have to check out Amazon.com regularly because they sometimes put some of these on their site.
If you live in the USA : you might be interested to join the club, especially if you buy lots of Disney DVDs, because the offer is interesting! Open Vault Disney made an interesting article on how to join.
All in all, the good news is that this set contains ALL the remaining 11 episodes, never-before released in ANY country, in good DVD quality! And this includes the controversial "Flying Dupes" episode, which we had doubts over its release! Here is the eBay listing of TaleSpin Vol 3: www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p2047675.m570.l1313.TR4.TRC1.XTaleSpin+vol+3.TRS0&_nkw=TaleSpin+vol+3&_sacat=0&_from=R40

Good news to those who have a local Wal-Mart store! Wal-Mart has TaleSpin Vol 3 in stock! I bought mine today with a photo to prove it! Sorry it's blurry, I have trouble holding a cellphone still enough to take a picture but you get the general idea of what to look for next time you go to Wal-Mart! It had a tag sticker, saying "ONLY at Wal-Mart."

Looks very nice. Did you take this picture? No, copied and pasted it from an art site, but that's no art, it's a photo of the DVDs

I got mine yesterday and here's my thoughts on it from a quick glance:
That last one first made me concerned that I got a lemon set because the first two DVD sets I got were not rated; and then when I got home and checked the discs out, my concern turned to giggling mirth. I realize that Toon Disney is dead as a doornail; but it still makes it look like an idiot. Overall; a nice bare bones set, but the quality of the episodes is thinner than the first two. And Flying Dupes is gone from the blacklist. Now if we can convince Disney to release the 1990 Disney Channel version of Plunder and Lightning (I realize that I.m shifting the goal posts a tiny bit.) then my dreams will be complete. No more relying on a tape traded version which looks it's age.
I would also be happy if someone had the TaleSpin Documentary on tape and shared it on Youtube, but alas.
