Hi friends, I want to take the time and show my gratitude toward one the best characters to have ever been created; Kit Cloudkicker. When TaleSpin first came on television, I was going through some very personal issues. The future seemed dark and nothing was making me happy. Then one day I watched an episode of TS, and noticed a young character who was wise beyond his years, friendly and positive, and could laugh in the face of fear. He was Kit. Kit also loved his extreme sport, cloud-surfing. I had just taken up snowboarding (hence my name here) and Kit became a symbol of bravery, who made me try harder under any challenge. I even painted him on my snowboard! He really brought me out of my funk, and has been an important figure ever since. To give tribute, I even have a Kit tattoo on my arm to remind me that no matter how small or big, I can face my fears. Kit really is my hero. Snowkicker, I love how you've summarized Kit. Kit Cloudkicker is an animated profile in courage. I've commented in previous entries elsewhere about how he had endured hardships at such an early age which would have made a forty-year-old man like myself throw his hands up in despair. He's been all alone in the world, a survivor of homelessness and has led an unbelievable life before ever setting foot inside a junior high school classroom. After enduring a life amongst the criminal element that really is the Air Pirate gang under Don Karnage, the wonderful thing about Kit is that he's very sensitive, kind and loving. I've called him "the bravest bear of all", and considering what Kit's been through...I think the moniker fits him to a tee. I seem to recall Jymn Magon expressing surprise at how the fandom for TaleSpin has remained strong after all these years. I seem to remember expressing similar surprise when I came on the scene four years ago...but maybe it shouldn't be a surprise after all. TaleSpin was a fun and daring cartoon show. Kit Cloudkicker was a character with a lot to offer. As far as I'm concerned, he still has more tales to spin! It's wonderful to see that there are people in the entertainment industry who create things like this cartoon that can uplift as well as amuse. I believe that like any other tool, the animation medium can be as enlightening as other art forms. The organization which brought Kit Cloudkicker and his TaleSpinning adventures to us should be very proud of the positive difference they apparently make in the lives of others. Disney offers art which entertains and inspires others in the way that only they could do. I guess I've said a lot...I hope it was adequate...about how I basically feel just like you do, Snowkicker, about this Jungle Ace we all embrace here. If there's any shred of logic in expressing love for a cartoon character...I love Kit a lot. In the end, though, you deserve all the credit for making a positive difference in your life. I believe anyone else would say the same thing. If Mr. Magon was here he'd probably show gratitude for how good we feel about a cartoon character and the courage we find in him. In the end, however, we take the initiative in making our own lives better. I guess a little bit of that Cloudkicker spirit lives inside us all, doesn't it? ;D

Eclipse from TaleSpin Source drew a picture of my character from the Organization Phoenix: Mathew Cloudkicker Now, this is REALLY good, exactly how I pictured him and this is a lot better than my own picture of him What do you guys think? I think it looks so cool and awesome. I asked Eclipse if he'd do two more pictures like that. One father and son portrait (Mathew, Kit and Chris) and one family portrait (Mathew, Kit, Chris, Baloo, Rebecca and Molly and maybe even Wildcat.) I hope he's up to it, it'd be really great if he did those portraits for me ;D Holy Cow, that's incredible! ;D

Hey, Snowkicker!
I remember even Kit wore something on his head; I think it was a spaghetti strainer. I remember their battle cry...
Pick 'em up, knock 'em down! Hit 'em hard and make 'em frown! Over sea, in the sky, Jungle Aces flyin' high! FLY-Y-Y-Y, ACES!
It's great to have you here.

This bear-hug is for Rahway, which I'll be leaving after twenty-six years. I will take the best memories of you with me as I leave the bad memories behind at the curb, for the trash collectors to haul away tomorrow morning.
This bear-hug is for Pennsville, my new home and my new beginning. My best hope is that the transition from one life to another will be a smooth one. We'll have much to learn about each other, I understand that people in Pennsville generally love the Philadelphia Eagles. I can confidently say that I love wearning Green! The winds of change are blowing tonight and I feel a cool, refreshing breeze. That breeze will carry me straight to you!
Last, but not least, this bear-hug is for you! Thank you for continuing to be a source of support and inspiration to me. Without you, I would've never made it this far. I love you all! Thank you!
;D

This is Kit from my upcoming fan fictional story " Kit's Birthday" I'll give you guys a sneak peek into the story. —Saturday morning— “Rise and shine-ola, Kit!” Baloo said cheerfully, shaking Kit’s shoulder a little, trying to wake Kit, who opened one eye and glared at Baloo as if to say ‘You’re waking me up early… on a SATURDAY?’ “Wait till you hear what we’re doing today!” “What’re we doing, Papa Bear?” Kit asked groggily, sitting up in bed and rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. He got up, took off his nightshirt and started to put on his usual green sweater but Baloo stopped him. “Hey wait a minute, kid. Why don’t ya take a break from that ol’ sweater?” Baloo suggested, holding out a short sleeve shirt which was the darker shade of green then his sweater, with a yellow neck collar. On the front, there were two yellow letters that read “KC.”Contrast from his sweater, which was old and worn, this shirt was brand new, it wasn’t even used. “This’ll look better on ya, and ya won’t get hot in this.” “Thanks Papa Bear.” Kit said gratefully as he accepted the new shirt and put it on. “I love it!” Baloo looked Kit up and down in his new shirt with a grin. “Lookin’ sharp there, kid.” Well now that you had your sneak peek, it's time for the picture of him in his new shirt! There you are, cool shirt huh? (Yes, he's holding a hotdog, chrisno51 inspired the hotdog to me when he was telling me what he had for lunch) KC5, I love the colors! Hee-hee...it's our buddy Kit in his new jersey! ;D

My very dear friends, Gee...how things go about in four years of my life since finally getting internet service! I've started a couple of online groups and inherited one...but I'm very happy about this one. The reason being that this little page brought together some very dear online friends from two different fandoms. There's a line in the TaleSpin theme song that goes, friends for life through thick and thin; I think that line describes this group perfectly. Whether you know this or not, this group is a vital source of online support to me on a very personal level. I am very thankful that the people who come here are some of my very closest friends and I feel I could share anything with them. It is my hope and trust that they feel the same way with me. Kit Cloudkicker is a hero in the way that the most wonderful heroes often are. For every kid in real-life who has come from a disadvantaged background, here is an animated inspiration. Kit, since he was very young, has known a life plagued by hunger, homelessness, and never having anyone around who cared whether he lived or died. He, in all likelihood, had experienced things in his young life which would've driven many an adult to despair. The biggest saving grace in his life came in the form of Baloo, Papa Bear, who took him under his wings and together, they became a father-and-son team. I like to think that, really, this page should embrace both characters for the difference they've made in each other's lives. If a person can logically state that he or she loves a cartoon character, let me say that I love Baloo and Kit very dearly. I'm very happy to know that, as the series will soon approach its twentieth anniversary, there are some folks here who love the series and its characters now...just as they did then. Mostly, you all have grown up with TaleSpin. I'm just growing old with TaleSpin. As I was four years ago, I'm very happy to be part of this group of fans. You've made me very welcome. You've been a source of support, strength, and inspiration. For these and so many other things, I thank you all. I want to also thank my friends in the Yanni fandom, because they introduced me first, to the Unofficial Kit Cloudkicker Homepage. In a big way, they brought me to you. Now, through Cloudkicker's Message Board, I'm delighted to say that two fandoms come together on one page. My wish is that interest in this page would gain momentum. I still wish that anyone connected with the Disney organization would feel encouraged and welcomed here, so they might understand how we feel for a character who, after twenty years, still has more tales to spin. Thank you very much. Sincerely, Tom Cloudkicker, AdministratorCLOUDKICKER'S MESSAGE BOARD

I've always enjoyed music like this while browsing the TaleSpin pages online. I think reading Dan Green's stories with Kit getting into Jazz music kinda got a hold on me. Kit might have enjoyed stuff like this, too. ;D

What very sad news this is! This page was the first ever TaleSpin fan page I was introduced to. I can't believe that it's almost four years ago!
The Unofficial Kit Cloudkicker Homepage is a treasure trove of all things pertaining to Kit. There are links to some of the most wonderful stories I've ever read and some of the best artwork of a cartoon character I've ever seen! I'm so very sorry to learn that this, the biggest TaleSpin fan site I have ever visited, will end it's run after eleven years...or will it?
I'm wondering...like some of you...if it would be possible for Mr. Weagle to come here so we can discuss the possibility of the UKCH's best material coming to Cloudkicker's dot-net. Do we have the kind of network which could accomodate this very ambitious collection of all things Kit? Would we really have the Disney organization's blessing with this little project; a project which is not really very new at all, but from my understanding, it began in 1998 with a big undertaking which would be known as The Unofficial Kit Cloudkicker Homepage. I hope there's something we can do here to help preserve some of the wonderful treasures which could easily and permanently vanish.
If you know how to reach Mr. Weagle, please invite him here. I hope there's something we can do to help preserve a collection of TaleSpin artwork, which took eleven years to amass, and could take a New York Minute to lose...forever.
