Hi Friends. Was thinking here lately on a theroy I had based around Kit and Rebecca. I was thinking though most of us concider Becky Kits adopted mother in Fan Fiction and the show Including my self. But You ever think that how Kit and Becky had that Mother and son relastionship and how Kit reacted more shy like and gentel like towards Rebecca when they First met was casue there Might have been more of a Connection there? My theory is that though Kit and Rebecca are more Adopted Mother and Son could it some how be possable that the two of the were really real mother and son? I know in real life bear cubs such as Kit can attach to another mother bear but Kit and Becky were Different. So what do you all think is it possable that Becky and Kit might have been really mother and son but never knew it despite the last name Difference Kit. Cloudkicker/ Rebecca. Cunningham. I'll admit Disney did do Kit and becky almost the same fur Color. so I was Kinda thinking of this theroy but I dont really know. What do you all Think? (((((CMB)))))[/color][/i][/size] God Bless!! Funny you should mention an attachment issue. Because that seems to be the root of a lot of psychological issues. We are discussing on how infants are attached to their mothers and research shows that how a baby reacts is how a mother handles her own child. It can be said, with the right environment, any child can thrive, regardless of whether they were adopted or homeless, given the right situation. That's an excellent point to bring up!  |

This is a good theory to discuss and I agree that there are some similarities between Kit and Rebecca, true Kit is nicer then Rebecca but both have a sense of responsibilities and both are known to be stubborn and headstrong.
Now, what about the relationship between Kit and Baloo? They both warmed up to each other after such a short amount of time and Baloo even let him fly the Sea Duck, something he wouldn't even let best buddy Louie do
There are some similarities between Kit and Baloo. They both love planes and aviation. And they both got a little bit of a tempter
So this theory could go either way, Rebecca being Kit's mother or Baloo being Kit's father and none of them knew it.
Rebecca being Kit's mother would explain why he's always trying to prove himself to her and have her to depend on him, and always trying to make her happy and proud of him.

Thanks Bud , agreed on Kit and Baloo as well as Him and Rebecca as well. I my self have seen that with Kit and Baloo as well in that they were alot alike and that Baloo and Kits fater son relastionship was really strong as well. I've thought many Times that even thouh most of us have wrothe Kit as the adopted son that they all were really like Kit real family as well so yeah I agree there 100% I wonder if they actually were Kit real mom and dad at time's. Kit is alot like both Baloo and Rebecca in many ways. and yes agreed Baloo leting Kit Fly the Sea Duck in Plunder&Lighting was something he wouldnt even let his best buddy Louie do. That really Shows how much Baloo and Kit did respect each other and Baloo helped Kit to trust again as well as Rebecca. So yeah good point there Kc5. Nicely thought out. You know I wondr though if Becky and Baloo are Kit's real mom and dad. how did Kit get seprated from them and all. to eventualy meet them again and not eeven know there real family. Makes me wonder if this was the parts of Kits past that we all as fans and writers have tryed so many time to explore. Nicely done Kc5 and I could not agree more Here. Also Kit and Molly as Brother and Sister is a good excample as well though Younger Molly and Kit acted alot alike and she Loved Kit muchly. so theres another Excample. And that does make sence as to way Kit is always trying to have Rebecca Depend on Him. in that he wants to show her she can rely on Him and trust Him, espely with Molly,and Doing Chores like cleaning Duites around H4h and such to make her happy and be proud of him. That deffeanly makes sence. Excamples. Mommy for a day Saving Molly. It came from Beneth The Sea Duck saving Both Becky and Molly. and Contless others.not to metion Kit helping Baloo out aswell and in return both Becky and Baloo saving Kit. i noticed that too i think she had kit first long ago and an accident that happened like an attack on a small town during a war or pirate attack gets them seperated when he was born she gets sent away and never finds him again til much later her first husband either captured or killed sad to say so then she meets a fine young lion captain who thenm marries and proceed with cute molly which she looses him as well living by his last name her and molly succeding at business and now higher 4 hire her and molly are reunited with kit and possible future husband baloo i think she remembers him subconciencsly she feels him there and that warm love sparked in both of their hearts and molly's as well and i think that would trully tie up that theory as a fact and the short story i made for kit-lee about molly and kimba in the future a little cause her father was a lion so she has both lion and bear making her one tough girl

Wow, Staticbear, I never thought of that, and now that I think of it, that is a possibility and that might have been what happened. And the name Kit goes by might not be the name Rebecca and her then husband gave him and that could be why Rebecca didn't catch that he's her son. Remember Kit's reply when Baloo asked "What do they call you?" "Kit...uh...Kit Cloudkicker." It sounds like he made up the name right then...or maybe he's just hesitating due to his distrust of adults, who knows? But yeah, this is a likely possibility. |

Good theory thinking, Kit Lee! This is something I never thought about, but is a possibility. I have noticed the similar fur to Kit and Rebecca. All of you have some very good possibilities on this. And Static yours is certainly believable, assuming if Kit just happened to make up the name 'Cloudkicker' as a name he just like as a last name to go with his talent of cloudsurfing.

No prob thanks for asking. But yeah Baloos full Name in Talespin any way Is The Barron Baloo Von Bruin Wald the 13th.
