This site was the turning point of my attitude to TaleSpin and Kit Cloudkicker. This is WONDERFUL site, it's full of thoughts, stories, even feelings. I hope Mr. Weagle will permit to rehost the site, and i'll host it gladly without any advertising — I consider it an honour.

Please, if anyone have a contact with Gregory Weagle, ask him about it.
I don't want to miss the site which was the door to the world of TaleSpin for me and for many other people

I agree with you Bud and I was glad to send the news to you about this via E-mail earlyer. I as all of us thank you for wonting to rehost the site.

Now for contacting Greg the only way I know of is his Live Journal Page that chrisno listed in the post about this news.

you dont have to be a member of Lj to post you can leave Greg a message with out being a member. so thats what I could suggest at the momment.

I as well as Chrisno both members have left Greg a message on this and about having a new host Site as well.

So I would try that from that link and post a message about hosting the Site. It would be a great honor My friend and Pal.

to have you rehost the Page that means so much to us all. Thank you Derter for your offer and lets hope we can do this together as the friends we all are.

What very sad news this is! This page was the first ever TaleSpin fan page I was introduced to. I can't believe that it's almost four years ago!

The Unofficial Kit Cloudkicker Homepage is a treasure trove of all things pertaining to Kit. There are links to some of the most wonderful stories I've ever read and some of the best artwork of a cartoon character I've ever seen! I'm so very sorry to learn that this, the biggest TaleSpin fan site I have ever visited, will end it's run after eleven years...or will it?

I'm wondering...like some of you...if it would be possible for Mr. Weagle to come here so we can discuss the possibility of the UKCH's best material coming to Cloudkicker's dot-net. Do we have the kind of network which could accomodate this very ambitious collection of all things Kit? Would we really have the Disney organization's blessing with this little project; a project which is not really very new at all, but from my understanding, it began in 1998 with a big undertaking which would be known as The Unofficial Kit Cloudkicker Homepage. I hope there's something we can do here to help preserve some of the wonderful treasures which could easily and permanently vanish.

I could not have said this any Better. and All my hopes as all of us hope we can save the site. for Future Fans.

It was 5 years ago In 2004 that I found Gregs Site and it led me to The Talespin Lj. were I met alot Of you Guys your self Tom Included. then later on Highflight. and it showed me that Talespin was loved by many and theres so many Fans that like us both thought of Kit as a Role Modle and a Kind Hearted Bear Cub that we all Love and respect.

Greg and the UKCHP were and will alway be my interduction to this wonderful fandom of friends and Memories. we have all shared art we have all done and Just every think Kit.

I have spoke with Derter Via e-mail and he said he can save the site if Greg will prmit. I'm hoping as we all are Greg can Give the okay.

Losing the UKCHP Site is like losing part of Kit Him self and thats very sad.

I Hope as a fellow Memeber here and a freind of you all and Kit that Greg will let us the fans Keep somthing thats near a dear to all of our Hearts Like Kit and Talespin are To us alive.

And Disney Does like the fan sites and Tributes you know that Tom so thats one thing we do have is Disney's Blessing as well.

I as us all hope things work out and we can keep a big part of Kits Memorie alive in This web site.

Friends it is with a sad heavy heart that I relay this message from Greg from his new Lj Post Now I did leave him a message on contact Info with Derter and about the Offer at hand but I dont know what he will decide.

Grege:As everyone is probably aware; Geocities has decided that web hosting is no longer a good venture to get into and they are shutting down the service later this year. That means that the Unofficial Kit Cloudkicker Homepage after 11 years of staying put on Geocities will no longer be on Geocities. Right on; the real question has been if I am going to revive the website. If it is in it's full bloom then the answer is a sad no simply because the website has simply gotten too big for it's bridges already. It will take weeks and months to redo all the code for this website on my own. Archiving the site itself isn't a problem at all; I can do that in a day's work. I can at least save the files and fully intend to do so since a lot of stuff is donated to me and some of it is probably wanted back by the original creators for use on other sites.

On the other paw; there are vasts amounts of information on my website that I want to live on the internet simply because they are my best works. My editorials (and Alyson Terry's) will likely live on; even the ones I think are now completely crazy opinions in my views. Some of those are also donated as well. The tributes to TaleSpin, all the screengrabs I would like to keep, the poems since some of them resonate with some of the episodes, The TaleSpin Timeline and of course the links page for resources. Fanfics and Fanarts to be honest up most of the space and to be quite honest; Fanfiction.net and Divantart already provide a vast resource of art and fanfic already. I know Wilson Goldwing has already moved his works over there since his website has been infected. I don't know if I will put AeroStars up on Fanfiction.net yet. I was taken off guard by Geocities' decision to stop the web hosting services and I am still ironing details out for what I plan to do. My first order of business is to archive and backup every file I EVER put on Geocities twice on two SD Cards so I don't lose anything. Therefore; the website might be lost forever on the net; it won't be lost on my SD Card. Now if DaveJ wants to revive the site in full in archive then I have no problem letting him do so. He has been a godsend in tape trading when I did the Flying Dupes rant and I can depend on him to remake the site. The thing is; I made the decision to retire the site under the knowledge that I was going to be disrupted one of these days. The website traffic was going down and due to Livejournal and blogs increasing in traffic, it became second nature to go to them. Twitter is becoming something I might consider if it fits the need so to speak. That's why very soon; if you do see my Kit Cloudkicker editorial; it will probably be an entry on this very blog.

This really wasn't my idea...Then again; a lot of people don't like Geocities. Now I understand why. I intend to keep the site running as long as it goes until the web hosts decide it is officially time to hang it up. For now; I'll be spending the month of May archiving my data. However; On May 2 & 3; I'll be working on the re-rant for A Bad Reflection On You as a full OAV type rant and have that one posted on the Rant Shack. At least Angelfire hasn't deserted us....yet.

I hope Greg will take Derters offer or even from Dave J we just cant let him let the Site die.

This is a sad day in talespin and Kit HistoryIndeed I have done all I could.

Well, bearcat, you can link to it for now, but it may turn to be a deadlink come sometime this summer, because of Geocites decision to shut down their website service.

It's possible that maybe it could go to a new server, hopefully.

I was reading Gregs Newest Live Journal Post and he posted that the site will Continue to live on. Greg made a dession and decide to keep the site alive and keeping all its momories alive as well.

Greg is planing on moving the site to a new host at a sever caled 50webs with every thing in tact.

So to Greg thanks for your Dession to Keep the site alive and well and keeping a gate way for all the fans of Kit and talespin alive.

Every one Kits Memoreis will never Die as long as we remember him we all know that ,but now a big part of thoes memoreis will remain as well.

Just a quick update on this every one.

was reading over Gregory's post and he mentioned the new web adress will be somthing like cloudkicker.50webs.com.

he said that he wasnt sure if thats what it will be yet but thats what he is hoping for.

so the new adress as it stands now if this is the one he gets will be the one I mentioned above but again Greg is hoping for that one .
