Talespin characters revamp

You may know it or not, but the TaleSpin characters models have not always been the ones we know.

I have written an article with pictures from their older design, and comparing them :

Hi! Steet.

Thanks for posting this. I like many of us know that the characters we all know and love went through some major changes. Kit, Rebecca, and Molly being the most notable.

I read an interview once on Kit's redesign The reason being was the creator of Kit said though they liked the original Kit when he seen the art he said that Roy had said something Like he needs to be more cute and well long story short Kit was back on the drawing board and became the Kit that all us fans of Kit know and Love.

Now I personally have seen a second redesign for Molly and Rebecca most haven't.

Starting with Rebecca.

Rebecca was Altered for the first Design wearing A longer pair of pants and had more of her final face with the same short hair her out fit was purple and a bit more like Final Rebecca.

Kit on the other hand was now in his sweater and the Kit we know and love as our hero.

Molly on the other hand in the next to final design was now more her self But wearing a real Richie Dress and was holding An Umbrella Like the outfit form the episode with Covington.

But finally Molly and Becky Got the Final look we Know now.

I actually have a few pictures of the old Designs.

It's strange that most people are aware of this, while I couldn't find a single information or picture about it on any Talespin sites.

Sadly the sight that had the other Rebecca and Molly design is no longer around as far as I remember. But there was thoes desings as well.

But maybe this explains that, then.

Kit looks like Cubbi Gummi's wild cousin. Like he was in some forest all by him self like gusto. LOL

I remember reading another comment somewhere that said Kit looked more like a monkey than the bear he was intended to be.

I disagree with whoever made that comment, Tom, Kit looks nothing like a monkey. To me, he looks 100% bear, with the snout, nose and ears of a bear, it's beyond me how this person compared Kit with a monkey....

Kit is more of a bear than a monkey. I'm glad they decided to go with the bear instead of a monkey. I don't think the monkey would ever work.

Kc5 and I thought we'd post a few old Pictures of Kit's old I made part one of this post he did part 2

I'll also go Record to say that I agree with Kc5, Tom That person must have been blind to not see Kit's bear cub. Kit even in his original design was a Bear Just off a bit.

I remember reading an interview with His creator on the drawing team and He said Kit was in original form a bit bigger then he is as we know him and of course he had pants and no sweater and a red nose and Hat where Kit that we know and love has the sweater and an blue and red cap and Black nose with Darker light brown fur.

I actually have one of the old promo Posters that I'm posting with this message that shows How Kit was evolving into Kit we Know.

The key things that we see here is Kit was beginning to be less big and his eyes had changed the hat and fur was that same still but His face was looking more like his face and his noses is a black brown mix.

Also we see the old Sea Duck which to me looks like a fish

and the old Iron Vulture original called the Sky Shark If I remember right.

But again That person that said Kit looks like a monkey, okay well that's so wrong

Hugs Kit you're not a monkey, you're an adorable brown bear cub


Anyway, enjoy the pictures, guys

Wow, that's pretty interesting. It's cool to see how characters evolve from concept art in video games and cartoons to what they become on-screen, as we all know and love.

Hey Guy's.

Kc5 and I found another old promo picture on Youtube actually in a user video.

This picture shows the nealy finished redesing of the charater's.

Notes here Kit's hat is Blue with a red inner brim and Blue outer not red. but Kit looks's more like his self Rebecca and Molly as well and the Final design of WildCat as well.

Other worthy notes The second Sea Duck design. looks alot more like the one we know. and Karnage as well.

Funny part is the sea gule's saluting lol.
