Hey I would buy the comics And Me too thats a big yes. deffentally after picking up and seeing the new Mickey mouse and Wall-e Comics. This may not be such a bad Idea after all. wonder if we could see if they'ed use fan stories. I know me and kc5 would enjoy see our characters with the gang. ~Kit Lee :0) Edit I did just try to reach them in congrats for doing a great job on the ones I picked up tonight along with the thanks for bringing back Darkwing and Ducktails. Below is a copy of my message. and yes I did mention TaleSpin. Dear Boom Studos. I am but a milde mannerd Disney fan of the age of 28. Disney has been my life for many years and I hope to work for them as a costume chaarater actor one day. I'm sending this message to say thanks for bring old favorites like Mickey Donald and the classice back in comic form. I just got the new Mickey and Wall-E comics tonight and they are so awesome. I love the retro Black an white Mickey in the world to come. and Wall-e is touching as every.  I'm also writing you all to say a big thanks for bring Darkwing Back as well as a story arc For Ducktails The Disney afternoon was my life as a Kid Dw Dt Chip and Dale Rescue rangers. and my all Time favorite Talespin. I'm so happy to see Darkwing and Ducktails coming back after 10 years. and I'd also like to add if you all ever bring up doing Talespin that would make me the happies man on earth Kit cloudkicker and the gang really should have another shot and I think in the hands of you guys who love Disney as much as myself that it could be done and done right. and I'd think It would be cool if you could use fan stories to help in making Talespin again. Me and a good friend of mine write Talespin stuff and we've had some great Ideas. If your ever interested please read the story Kit the Magician By My self Kit Lee and Kitcloudkicker52885. yes I know we can't sale you the idea or our characters we created but man it would be something to see somthing like our story with the orginal cast. In closeing I think you all are wonderful talented Disney fans and thank you for doing these new comics and I can't wait for Darkwing and Ducktails to be on the shelfs. Here's thanking you for a job well done on all of these and hopes that one day you may concider Talespin and Maybe Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers as well. But it you all did TaleSpin I'd Flip. cause my goal as a hopeful Disney Charater actor is to play Kit Cloudkicker that Little Bear cub means a lot to me and to thousands of Talespin fans all arond the world and the internet. Wow okay if my letter some how was what these anwsers are to then I'm honored and to cool I hope a pray they do I really realy do. Thanks for the info. and as far as dw I want to buy it but no one has him where I live all the comic shops are sold out and my local book store is monts behind. They;re just now getting issue 6 of Disney ultra heros, Dondald duck anf friends Double duck story arc, and others I've resently completed all but 4 of the the resent Wall-E comics. and I have Scorge 391 and Dt's Scroge 392. Aaaaaaannnnnnnddd...This is starting to REALLY look good! I reached Jymn yesturday, talking about the Darkwing comics, and wondered if he would agree to do a TaleSpin comic. And here's his answer! "How bizarre. I just learned about Boom! yesterday and sent a message (via their website) offering my services. But it was a generic send, so if you know someone specific I should talk to (or if you have any clout with them), lemme know! I'd love to do Tale Spin for them. Jymn" A shame I didn't reach him earlier! I sure wrote him down a list of the contacts I know about (you can see my answer on this Facebook page he set up two months ago : www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Jymn-Magon-Presents/116454455062294?ref=ts) Now with Jymn's support, they HAVE to do it, right? |

Thats good news, But really the only ones that can say yes is Disney and Boom themself's. Jymn maybe co creator of Talespin and offering his help as well. but, the real go ahed anwser comes form Disney who owns the Characters and the likeness of Kit, Baloo, Rebecca Ect ect.. Also I'd think Mark Zaslove would be the other go ahead yes. He was main Creator of Talespin. Fro any fan such as me who has the orginal Plunder & Lighting Comic it states that Mark was the one who wrote the orginal Script. But yeah I can see It happinging. Only now is a question of when and how long it'll take to start getting published with Disney's yes. But what shocks me is Jymn saying he'd help when he said all the Comics are not Canon to the show. That sounds rather fishie to me. I mean why say the Comics had no canon when they did, and now offer his help? Jymn if you See my question on here and would like to anwser please do. How can you say The old comics were not canon than offer to help continue Ts in comic form? ~Kit Lee. :0) |

Agreed with My cousin. Fans its time to look at what were doing in story lines and such. TaleSpin was never meant to be sad or evil like most writers do and Like my cousin above me I'm for Mark bring back TaleSpin in the Vision it was meant to be. Jymn was nothing but co writer and creator Mark did the real work behind the sense. like my cousin this is my last post for a while on things, look in your hart fans and see what TaleSpin really was. ~Kit Lee My final message for now but I'm here if members need a mod. |

They were BOTH creators of the series, and also buddies (from what I figured out) They contributed to the series one as much as the other.
Having one original creator on new comics would already be a good news, don't you think? The new Darkwing Duck comics don't have Tad Stones, yet everyone has stated they are EXCELLENT. (see the reviews everywhere on the web)
Jymn and Mark didn't work on the old comics, which is why it's not considered "canon". Why would Jymn want to do it now? Well :
- He doesn't work anymore for Disney, but doing the comics would allow him to work on the characters he contributed/created and loves the most. I hate to say this, but he's not young anymore, so this opportunity may not come over again.
- I believe he's looking for money (hence the webinars he's organizing)
- He didn't work on the old comics because Disney didn't ask him to do it. And probably because he wouldn't have had the time to work on animated series and comics at the same time.
In any case, we still don't know the future plans Boom! has (if any) so we should FIRST let Boom! know there are fans out there than WANT this to happen.
I think we've never been this close to have some kind of revival for the series, and this opportunity may not stay for very long. (Boom! Disney comics don't sell very well, EXCEPT Darkwing #1) So this is OUR chance!
