Sounds as total absurd. We all know that TaleSpin was the very first show completely projected for TDA...

Er, the Suite Life series and Hannah Montana are fine, the shows that I hate are as follow: Phineas and Ferb Fish Hook Good Luck Charlie Life With Derek Mickey Mouse Club House (a preschool show that is a disgrace to Mickey Mouse and the gang!) My Friends Tigger and Pooh (another preschool show, a disgrace to Pooh and the gang!) That's all I can think of right now, but I happen to like the Suite Life series, of course I prefer Suite Life over Hannah Montana any day.

I agree with talespin12345. And KitCloudkicker5285 the shows you listed are NOT my favorites ethier. To be honest I hardly (or more like) don't really watch anything on the Disney channels anymore because all that is on them just about all day are those shows that you both mentioned and to be honest I don't like any of them. The ONLY time I maybe watch Disney is if and when they run one of their old movies or one of their recently released on DVD movies that I haven't seen yet, other then that I don't watch Disney channel anymore which is sad because I used to watch it all the time when they had all the good stuff on like... The Jungle Cubs, TaleSpin, The New Adventures of Winnie The Pooh, The Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto cartoons and things like that. But, alas, not anymore Kitckw

Ummm; I got word from GregX from Toonzone; and according to him and Greg Weissman who worked on Gargoyles; there is no "Disney Afternoon" license to begin with. All DTVA properties are separate licenses. So BOOM! is either lying or badly misinformed. I believe it's more of the later actually.
Yes; it's absurd to think that the first show made for the Disney Afternoon block would not be a Disney Afternoon show now; but the licensing states that none of the DA shows are Disney Afternoon shows anyway. Like I said earlier; I think BOOM is making excuses on the licensing issues for something else. I wonder if they are really interested in TaleSpin; instead of merely saying that they are? Time will tell that.

Well as I can gather, yes, there isn't really a "Disney Afternoon" licence but a "classic characters" licence. While not exactly the same thing, I still believe it includes the 3 DA shows they made, but not TaleSpin. Also, Gummi Bears and Gargoyles are not part of the "classic characters" licence either.
