That sounds like a wonderful Idea to me 0x7b! doing it with fan Fiction would be cool seeing the amount of talented writers out there and there plenty to be used for a full season. I would keep with ones with now bad language, and such. Other then that there plenty around to make a full Season. I think even Jymn Magon would like the Idea if he hasn't already replayed to it. This could be a way to get some notification to show the show is still worth doing and it may help get a new real session. Again nice Idea. Thanks for sharing. Sincerely. Kit Lee Christopher :0)

Thanks, I'm glad you like it! Of course no bad language or mature themes will be allowed; I want to keep the virtual season as true to the original as possible. This could be a way to get some notification to show the show is still worth doing and it may help get a new real session. It's interesting that you mention getting a new real session... because that's kind of my evil plan. ;D Basically I wanted to do the stories for the virtual series in screenplay format and release them on the 'net, so that maybe, just maybe, Disney might find them and take notice. The Disney people would say, "Hey, already completed scripts that aren't half bad!" And the Disney bean counters would say, "This will save us lots of money since we already own the rights and we don't have to pay the writers!" <insert maniacal laughter here> I know the chances of Disney picking up and using fan produced scripts are about one in a zillion, and some fans may not be comfortable with the screenplay format, so I'll most likely end up going with standard prose. Still, it's fun to think a plan like that could work!

Again this is nice Idea. Thanks for sharing. Sincerely. Kit Lee Christopher :0)

I'm afraid it's not that easy. I had read somewhere that the companies never do that, because they are always afraid of being sued by the original authors; and as such, they avoid using fan created content.
That's a real shame, of course...Who better than the fans and / or the original creators could create something good and respective of the spirit of the series?
And as you said, it would save them money. Well maybe if you add a mention stating something like "the authors of this VS will not claim copyrights and allow the Disney company to use these stories and characters", but it's still very doubtful they will read it.
UNLESS...we send the VS to some appropriate persons currently working at Disney. Otherwise, there's no chance of them stumbling upon it. Not very easy to get good contacts like that though...

LOL, take it easy! That whole "evil plan" statement was about 97.32% joke! ;D Like I said, "the chances of Disney picking up and using fan produced scripts are about one in a zillion". Actually, even that's probably a bit optimistic. Even so... IMHO, something that's formatted in a manner consistent with the format they're familiar with and actually use stands a better chance of being picked up than a format they NEVER use. (You know... a nice, neat package that's easy for them to digest... ) Of course, I'm well aware that the chances of Disney ever using fan produced work of either format are microscopically tiny. (We're talking scanning electron microscope tiny!!! ) Since the likelihood of Disney using any type of fan produced work is so small, it probably doesn't make too much difference which format is used. I'll willingly use whichever format the fans decide on.

Well, I have not seen that fanmade video you're talking about, but I'm sure there are many more Lord of the rings fans than Talespin fans...And, it's probably a film, not animation (which is much harder to make) But I think it's worth trying and see what we can come up with.

exactly the person said this is a fan made video no profit was made it is strictly done on a freelance basis, the hunt for gollum the way it was made looked and sounded better than the actual movie series and i know it takes a lot to have volunteers to show up dress up recreate whol scenes and towns makeup for the orcs and the recreating of gollum himself that took a lot even the voice work too, i believe it is ossible to recreate a talespin fanfiction animated, cause i even seen fanmade speed racers back in 92 and 93 when that show made a giga comeback qand millions of fans especially at my high school got together and made a animated fan toon of it i was amazed on how good they did on recreateing the tv show. and i know this cause my best friend and teacher mr phelan helped on the actual pictures used in several parts of the fan made toon.

hello guys, sorry for not being a regular here, but I've been to busy on a project. I'll leave this messege for all of you to read So I chatted around two hours with Kris. Known as greykitty at deviant art and she has posted at the forum, steet¡¦s forum.: viewforum.php?f=64 She agreed on helping with the project of the Virtual Season. I was checking on the animations she showed me and they are amazing. Other good news is that we have and use exactly the same software. Adobe Flash, Photoshop and premiere and after effects in case there¡¦s an animation to be done. We really need feedback guys. A lot of motivation is required for something this big from pure heart and no money. I¡¦d like to ask you to please participate on the forum. Give suggestions to the art that is posted there. So far we have 7 pages of comments but I know some of you are keeping away from there. I would love if you participate a little more. It will really mean a lot to us and either way we are all here because we Love Talespin. We need people who can do music. 0X7B will need help in writing too, so if there is anyone interested please let us know. You will make the dream of bringing back a little part of the series to life. We have to focus on the writing part, and I¡¦ll begin along with Kris with model sheets for all the characters involved starting this weekend. It¡¦s going to be a small pace until we have all characters involved, but we are going to focus on the main ones first. Please give me feedback on the sessions I have at my channel on livestream at: www.livestream.com/talespin_virtual I¡¦ll post a shout at steet¡¦s page or I will announce it here. My next one is at 6:00 pm central today, and tomorrow at the same time. Thanks a lot for your support and hoping to hear from you all soon. ƒº Opus,

A fact is that everyone that passes to this forum at least has a little love for the series. I just want to ask you how much. I've seen a few interested topics and good stories within my just 2 months of being here.
The question is this:
1.- How fond are you with the characters and the show, as a whole, and what is it that brings you to to like it in the first place (when you were a kid) in contrast to what is keeping you to abandon the fandom now that you're adult?
2.- Lets suppose that Disney brings back the show. Just a supposition mind you... What should be taken off and what should be added in order to keep the original fans (the ones who saw the show as kids) to continue loving it and maybe even more than before?
3.- Whats your favorite character on the series? why and what would happen if he/she ages up . should the personality of this character change a little bit and how should it be changed. if you have a favorite character give me an explanation on your thoughts accordingly. Also, who is the least favorite? why and how can he/she at least be someone who is not as horrid or hated without changing his/her personality knowing that sometimes that would be impossible, but just in some cases.
4. be honest here . no matter how crude your answer will be, it is your side of the coin so nothing will happen to the the VS team. the reason we'd like to know in what grounds we are standing.
a:- Do you think this project will at least jump off to work on a few episodes, then motivation will run off?
b.- You don't believe that this project is at all going to get off the ground
c.- you are interested in joining the team but want to make sure something is done before you ever apply to participate in the TS Vs Management
d.- you don't care that much to even think about anything talespin related and just visit to burn some of the time you have
e.- elaborate your own objection as of why you are not participating
