Hello. I just thought I'd make out a petition. (I'm not completely sure how to make one but I thought I'd try.) There are no imediate plans to send this any where but maybe someone can help me with that later. What I really would like and appreciate on here is any of your opinions about Disney putting the TaleSpin series back on (whichever) Disney Channel and go back to aireing it daily like they used to and possibly include your opinion about Disney putting out a third Vol. of Disney's TaleSpin and including the remaining episodes on it and maybe includeing The Uncut Plunder & Lightning Movie on the 3rd TaleSpin Vol. as a bonous. My Opinion is that I think that Disney should go back to airing TaleSpin on Disney daily (at a resonable hour for all of us to enjoy it) and they should put out the remaining episodes on a third TaleSpin Volume and that they should include the Uncut Movie Version of Plunder & Lightning on the 3rd set as a bonous or even a Special Collectors Edition. Thank you. Kitckw Attachments:

Of course, I would support any petition made for Talespin. I had imagined for myself what would be the best things Disney should do to "relaunch" Talespin. You've listed most of the things, but I would also include a "direct-to-video" film released on DVD...(why not? they used to make lots of Disney sequels - it would work much better with their TV series as the animation quality could only be better than the series quality itself) Or new episodes, but this has even less probability to happen. After all, the DTV films for Futurama was what relaunched the series...Even though they don't have the same popularity, I believe it could work. Of course, the chances of that happening anytime soon are next to none... In any case, I'll sign whatever petition that gets online. You can find lots of petition-making sites online. For example, I created a petition for Balto : www.thepetitionsite.com/1/balto-special-edition-dvdYou can also check sites like petitiononline.com, which is more famous... But before writing a petition, take the time to gather all the things you're requesting, and check for mistakes - because usually, once the petition is posted, there is no way to correct it.

I share Derter's opinion. The Walt Disney Company nowadays never listens to ordinary viewers like us. It's their business, and Walter Disney ideas are becoming forgotten.

Thank you,
My Reply to Pashka Geraskin: Thank you Pashka for your support.
My Reply to staticbear76: Thank you, Static Yeah,I agree that would be so cool.
My Reply to muttley1234: Thank you for signing ,and yeah who knows maybe Disney will take the hit.
My Reply to derter: Maybe this might not do much good ,but at least we can try it and see if it a does some good. Like maybe this could show Disney how many of us would like it if they did what I mentioned in the Petition.
My Reply to kitcloudkicker5285: Thank you for signing,my friend. Much appreciated.
My Reply to Pashka Geraskin: That may be true,my friend. But this could not hurt. Maybe we could show them how much we like this show.
Thank you all for your comments and opinons, they were very much appreciated.
Thank you.

As much as I would like to see this, There's only been 1 time in television history where a petition actually made a difference. And that was to save Fresh Prince after it's third season. Nobody takes these things seriously and it's just a waste of time to make one. Nobody of importance will ever read it.

I believe that Duke Igthorn is right; making up a petition on a site which houses thousands of others like it wouldn't make any difference at all. Disney should hear directly from fans like you and me about TaleSpin, as well as other things we enjoy from them. Any company that provides a product or service would welcome hearing from it's customers about how their product or service is appreciated, or sometimes how it can be made better. I'm sure NBC received a lot of fan letters appealing to keep the Fresh Prince running longer than it would have otherwise. I seem to recall CBS had a similar experience with fans asking them to let a 1980's series, Beauty and the Beast, continue. I think the best way to let Disney know we appreciate TaleSpin and its characters would be to directly let them know how we feel about the show and how we would really like to see a third volume released to add to our collections. If a certain character stands out, let them know about that, too. Tell them why this character has stood out for you all these years. I'll leave all that up to you; it's your letter, your feelings will be going into it. Of course, be friendly, courteous and professional. Imagine you're writing a cover letter to enclose with your resume. Businesses like Disney appreciate professionalism. Am I saying that if we all send a letter to Disney (or any other company) they'll respond favorably to our request? They might not, or, they just might. Either way, you've let them know how you feel about something they've offered, and, in the case of TaleSpin, you'd just love to see more! I'll leave you with this little line of encouragement from jazz artist, Fats Waller: One never knows, do one?

You are both right. Making an online petition with do nothing, but sit on a website. Sure lots of fans may come and sign it, but nothing more will happen with it. Basically all an online petition will do is make some fans feel better signing it. This is why I never said much on this thread in the first place. I do think we have a much better chance on sending our snail mail letters in, something all fans should do, as Tom expressed. I do remember a petition online that one young boy made, on a personal website for the cartoon Loonatics Unleashed, as he and many others save the Looney Tunes from the way the new artwork made them look, or something along those lines. however I can't find it any more, but it did make a small difference that I recall. Edit: the site is now long gone, which is why I can't find it, but here's info on it www.hecklerspray.com/eleven-year-old-boy-saves-bug-bunny-from-certain-death/2005336.php

Hello everyone! I haven't said much on this cause I'm in agency with Tom and Chrisno on this. personally Chris and I seen a Talespin petition way back and it just set there and it never really went any where. Thats one of the main reasons I never said any thing. I think in all honesty we need to keep doing what we;re doing the fantastic art and the Fan fictions Me and my adopted brother Kc5 have been working hard on one thats posted here btw. that has been said to be the one of the best stories written by our fans. See friends Disney has not totally forgot Talespin the Characters though rare are out in the parks and I noticed my self there is still a big love for Talespin in the company I've been to Disney and applied for a Job with them and I talked Talespin all day non stop with every one. So I feel thats it's not gone just waiting for some one to pick the it back up. Remember good things do come back and are not forgotten. Excellent post Chris Tom and Duke. you all are right lest keep doing what us fans do best. Sincerely ~Kit Lee Christopher. :0)

You see, that's just the thing. You can't just write a letter and say "Duuhhhh put Talespin back on the air because we miss Talespin" Where's the financial gain? I'm sorry guys but you have to realize, most people who watched Talespin are adults now and have lost interest in cartoons a long time ago. It may seem like there are a lot of fans when you spend time on retro themed websites. But in the grand scheme of things putting talespin back on the air would be a monetary loss and take time slots from preexisting shows that still have people working on them and willing to pay the money it takes to have their shows on that network. the dvds were released to see if there was any interest left in the show. the poor sales showed network heads thaty there aren't enough fans to warrant spending the money it takes to air a tv show. Think about it. The dvd sales were so poor that they didn't even bother to finish releasing the series. It really shouldn't be hard to figure out.
