Nice topic here. I'd Have to say I like just about all the old Classics myself. Fun and Fancy Free. Bambi. Aladdin. The Lion King Brother bear. Meet the Robinson's. Cars. Heh well The list goes on and on. way to many for me to list. I have over 50 Disney classics on VHS and DVD so I'm a pretty big Disney fan I like just about every thing Walt did and I grew up in the 90's so I seen all the great movies of the time so yeah I'm a fan of quit a few. Like your picks to. as Far as Show TaleSpin Tops the List as my Number 1. Sieges I just like so many It's be hard to list every thing, But thats a few of my ever growing list. Nice Topic here thanks for posting. Sincerely. ~Kit LeeCMB Assistant Mod:0)

Mine since I was a young child have always been Robin Hood, Fox and the Hound (my love of foxes go out to these two as well), Junglebook (such a great classic story, and helped bring about TaleSpin in a way too, with it's references, Pinocchio was really good too, I like how they did that one. Like you I've always loved the lion king since I first saw it in 1994, great characters and story plot. I also like the Rescuers with the mice, but I didn't watch that one as much. The first three I watched quite often as kid, as those were my top favorites. Fun and Fancy Free. Bambi. Aladdin. The Lion King Brother bear. Meet the Robinson's. Cars. Heh well The list goes on and on. way to many for me to list. These are good picks, though I am not sure I would call the last three 'Classics', although I'd say I consider Brother Bear an instant classic in itself, as it was that good in my eyes, but not a true classic yet. Don't worry, I'm not picking on you.

yeah I think Brother Bear is probably the best Disney film of the last decade. As far as Pixar goes, my favourites are Toy Story, Ratatouille and The Incredibles.

The upcoming Toy Story 3 looks like it might be pretty good too, boy Disney see it's popularity to keep it going like this. I never did see The Incredibles.

I've just found out that Beauty and the Beast will be re-released in cinemas in 3D next year. Unfortunately for me I am blind in one eye so I wont be able to get the 3D effect but I'm sure just the experience of it on the big screen will be amazing.

Any that Walt personally worked on with Ward Kimball as an animator.
Ward's works with Walt.
Snow White (Vultures) Pinocchio (Jiminy Cricket) Fantasia (Bacchus and his don-corn) Dumbo (Casey Junior and the Crows) Bambi (Faline) Cinderella (Lucifer, Jaq, Gus and Bruno) Alice in Wonderland (Tweedledee and Tweedledum; Cheshire Cat; Mad Hatter; The March Hare; The Walrus and the Carpenter) Peter Pan (The Darling children; the Lost Boys; the Indian Chief) The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad (Animation Director) The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and of course his most famous scene being The Three Caballeos I could go on listing His credits but I'm getting off topic here
My favorites of that bunch are. -Peter Pan (My personal favorite story in all it's adaptations) -Pinocchio (I have a soft spot for the aesthetics of the artwork, IMO it's the most beautifully hand drawn animated feature of all time.) -Dumbo (The elephants on Parade scene simply blew my mind as a child and it's still an example I use of what the basis of animation is all about) -Alice in Wonderland (See above)
But can we also list animated shorts/specials that were not feature length films? Because with Silly Symphonies alone that could be quite the list.
