Hey! All My pal and adopted brother Kc5 and I were talking about how the Movie Version and the TV Version look in the animation quality. So here's just a quick compression Of Kit and Don form both versions. First off we have our ace Kit as most of you will notice this is also my avatar on here. As you can see by this side by side compression Kit looks so much lighter in fur color in the TV version The movie version of Kit is a lot darker in color and he looks like himself as he should be. So aside form the edits and cuts that were made for the TV 4 Part version. The movie was better in colors but the anmimation was better in the TV version. The colors are a lot better and brighter. Kc5 and I agree Kit looks more like himself in the Movie version. But the anmation was lighter in the TV one as I stated Finally Don Karnage. again he's darker looking in color much like Kit as seen below. So when comparing the two color and animation with the 4 part version has the better looking animation But the movie is more correct. What do you guys think? God Bless. and Hope your all well. Sincerely. Your Friendly, Assistant Mod and Mod. ~Kit Lee. and -- Kc5285 :0)

I think that depends on quality of the film. Animation itself is the same. The complete movie version was recorded to VHS in 1990, while syndicated version was recorded from TV nowadays, when original film had faded during these years.

TaleSpin was animated by different places. The original P&L was probably done by one of the many Like Sun Woo animation for example while the 4 part was probably redone at a different studio. P&L the movie was only showed once and that was the premiere day back In September 1990. After wards it was the 4 part when it came to the re showings. Hope that helps. ~Kit Lee CMB Assistant Mod. :0)

The two first episodes were animated in France, the 3rd in Japan, and the 4th at Sun Woo. But it's the same animation in the movie and the 4-part version. (save for one or two additional scenes) As for the colors differences, this comes from different sources so it's not very surprising. The DVD version is in-between :

Thats what Kc5 and I were trying to show with the differences between them. The DVD Looks more like the normal animation like in the movie version short of as you said a in between of the the two.Which is really Cool. Kit looks so much more like himself in the Movie and the DVD versions. Thanks for adding the third one there much appreciated. Sincerely . ~Kit Lee CMB Assistant Mod. :0)

Other than the video is compressed in the Toon Disney version; I don't count this as an edit simply because of the quality of the print at the time of release. The only time I count those changes is if the scene was painted differently. One example was the pink glow in Shere Khan's office being changed to an orange sunset near the end of Act III.
The only thing that might come close to an edit might be Kit's sweater as the patch seems to be more obvious in the movie version than in the syndication version. But that one is too close to call.

You got a point there His patch is a bit harder to see in the Toon Disney version with compression there where the Movie and the DVD have it quite visible. and yeah I noticed that In Kahn's office as well. Nice points there. ~Kit Lee. CMB Assistant mod. :0)
