The Birds and the Beeswww.fanfiction.net/s/6466447/1/The_Birds_and_the_BeesAt Rebecca's urging, Baloo gives Kit the 'Talk' about growing up. Awkwardness ensues. Rated: G Review: In this fan fiction, Rebecca misread the signs of puberty in Kit, Kit was feeling under the weather with a hoarse voice and Rebecca thought that Kit's voice was changing. She told Baloo to give Kit the dreaded "Talk" Uncomfortable feelings and awkwardness filled the air as Baloo struggled with the task most Dads dreaded. Of course, the author had Baloo to start the "Talk" and skipped through to the end. (WHEW! Thank goodness!) A laugh was shared between Baloo and Kit the next day when Kit asked why did Baloo give him the "Talk"? Baloo admits that Becky told him to. And then Kit reveals that he was just a little hoarse The author is James7912b, and I applause him for his writing of this story, he covered what most boys and Dads go through at one point in the boy's life, all the while keeping it G-rated (K+ on Fan Fiction) If you're a Baloo/Kit fan who loves the father-and-son, pilot-and-navigator bond between the two, this is a must-read story for you!

Flying Higher Than Ever Beforewww.fanfiction.net/s/4334548/1/Flying_higher_than_ever_beforeTwo kids get separated from their parents and they soon meet up with the Tale Spin gang, will they find a way home? There will also be some Novelization's from some of the episodes on Talespin. Rated: G Author: White Hunter Review: This is a story about two kids--a brother and sister duo--and their adventures with the Higher for Hire crew. They are humans surrounded by anthropomorphic animals. White Hunter started out the story introducing us to the brother and sister, 14-year-old Kris Cloud and 10-year-old Melody Cloud. Kris becomes fast friends with Baloo and Kit, even went as far as caring for Kit as a little brother, this was evident when the story followed through the storyline of the episode, " Stormy Weather", with the presence of Kris and Melody--well Kris more than Melody, if truth be told. Melody mostly stayed in the office with Rebecca and playing with Molly During the course of the Stormy Weather storyline, we see not only Baloo developing fatherly feelings for Kit, we also see Kris developing older brotherly feelings for Kit. Although this story is not finished on the date of posting this review, it is nevertheless good and worth reading!

Cloudkicker Reduxwww.fanfiction.net/s/6067024/1/Cloudkicker_ReduxWritten by James7912bRated K+ / PGJames revamped his prequel to the TaleSpin pilot movie "Plunder and Lightning"; making the story more to his liking. This story follows young Kit's harrowing journey from his early existence in the orphanage right up to his joining the Air Pirates for the first time...then ditching them with "the Stone" which would be the pivoting object in the epic P&L opener for TaleSpin. The story, twelve chapters long, takes you through historic events; notably a Queen of the Skies airship incident orchestrated after the Hindenburg explosion over New Jersey. FOUR-and-a-HALF STARS

Hey. Newbie here. I was just looking through posts when I saw this and felt the need to add my two cents as a fan of James' stories. Basically, I cannot recommend them enough. The guy can write, and very little in the way of the shabby spelling errors that are endemic on fanfiction.net. His "Cloudkicker" is perhaps the finest bit of pre- Plunder and Lightening material I've read. All of his stories are in sequence, so start at the beginning. I don't think you'll be disappointed. It should be noted that his stories on occasion may edge a little north of the PG line, but nothing outrageous.
