Sorry, I couldn't tell you an exact age for me really, but I think probably when it first started airing on TV. I mean I remember first watching the Gummi Bears at a very young age.
So for TaleSpin... 4 years old maybe? 5 at the most.

Hello, Harry and welcome to CMB!
When TaleSpin first started, I wasn't growing up watching cartoons; I was growing old with them (25). I love the classic characters like Bugs Bunny (like my late father had) and Mickey Mouse. Now I'm 46 and still a cartoon fan...and this cartoon still rules my heart.

I've already related the story on my TaleSpin watching in The Five Years of Cloudkicker editorial on my website; however, as for age: I was 12 when TaleSpin was first shown (basically at the tail end of the target audience) and I remember hating it at first. It wasn't until I was 16 (well past the target audience) when I finally loved it for good. I'm not surprised by that since hearing interviews from the producers has been the fact that this show was targeted at an older audience; most so to people who didn't want a really dark show; but felt the previous Disney shows were too light hearted for them.

I remember it like it was yesterday, which it definitely wasn't. I was 13 years old and I had just come inside from playing ball with my brother. And what should be on TV but the premiere of Plunder & Lightning...part 4. Specifically the part where Karnage says, "Someone get the blow torch." Yup, I had missed the premiere of P&L by that much. Twenty-one years later I'm still a fan.

I was 25 years old, and...it was 2 years ago. So yes, unlike most people, I'm a recent fan, but one who loves it VERY much and just hate the way Disney has treated it : totally undeserved because it's really the best series I have ever watched. And nostalgia has no effect on me...

Oh I was in 6th grade at the time, so 11 or 12. I remember always running home in hopes of catching the entire Disney Afternoon. Never did miss an episode of TaleSpin though. ;D
