I think the message behind the series is that they're a family - I really don't think they intended Kit and Molly to behave any different from "brother and sister".

Wildcat's voice actor, Pat Fraley, sent me his audition for TaleSpin! At first I didn't believe that it was really an audition recorded in 1989, considering the content of the clip itself, although he confirmed to me that this was recorded for director Ginny McSwain, the year prior to Talespin hitting the air. True or not, this is still awesome to hear "Wildcat" again

In case you didn't / couldn't get it yet, Darkwing Duck #1 is available again in comic book stores! (Darkwing #2 will also get a second print soon) www.boom-studios.net/darkwing-duck-01-2nd-print.htmlAlso, Boom! has corrected a bug with international shipping which would cause really big shipping fees : now you can choose "First-class mail international". For example, for shipping to France, it only costs $5.80 instead of $29. And you can order several titles for the same shipping fees. No more excuse not to get all the Darkwing and maybe some other Disney/Boom comics books!

Sorry for double posting, but... I need you guys! To better show our support to the series, we should write to Boom! on their forums : forums.boom-studios.net/viewforum.php?f=3Could you help us by posting messages to support Talespin and ask for new comics? Please! And, if you want to do more, you can also do it on Twitter : try to send messages to - Boom Studios ( twitter.com/boomstudios ), - Ross Ritchie (manager of the comics at Boom : twitter.com/rossrichie ) - DisneyComics ( twitter.com/DisneyComics ), - Jesse Post (Disney publisher - he does NOT work for Boom but for Disney!! twitter.com/Jesse_Post ) Please please please! I fear that if we don't do anything, we can just forget the idea of getting anything new for Talespin, which will lead to the series being even more unfairly forgotten than it already is

Unfortunately, this didn't pay off, as Boom! announced the new Disney Afternoon title to become an ongoing series : Rescue Rangers! www.comicbookdaily.com/daily_news/boom-studios-announces-new-disney-title-at-panel/I'm disappointed (considering I don't like RR as much as the others) Especially now that they're saying : "As for the future of Boom! and its Disney Afternoon revolution, they’re always having discussions about what title they can pursue next, but are hesitant to over-saturate the market" so we may never see new Talespin comics We need to do better than that if we want this to happen! The "open spots" for new series are apparently getting very limited now...

They were BOTH creators of the series, and also buddies (from what I figured out) They contributed to the series one as much as the other.
Having one original creator on new comics would already be a good news, don't you think? The new Darkwing Duck comics don't have Tad Stones, yet everyone has stated they are EXCELLENT. (see the reviews everywhere on the web)
Jymn and Mark didn't work on the old comics, which is why it's not considered "canon". Why would Jymn want to do it now? Well :
- He doesn't work anymore for Disney, but doing the comics would allow him to work on the characters he contributed/created and loves the most. I hate to say this, but he's not young anymore, so this opportunity may not come over again.
- I believe he's looking for money (hence the webinars he's organizing)
- He didn't work on the old comics because Disney didn't ask him to do it. And probably because he wouldn't have had the time to work on animated series and comics at the same time.
In any case, we still don't know the future plans Boom! has (if any) so we should FIRST let Boom! know there are fans out there than WANT this to happen.
I think we've never been this close to have some kind of revival for the series, and this opportunity may not stay for very long. (Boom! Disney comics don't sell very well, EXCEPT Darkwing #1) So this is OUR chance!

Aaaaaaannnnnnnddd...This is starting to REALLY look good! I reached Jymn yesturday, talking about the Darkwing comics, and wondered if he would agree to do a TaleSpin comic. And here's his answer! "How bizarre. I just learned about Boom! yesterday and sent a message (via their website) offering my services. But it was a generic send, so if you know someone specific I should talk to (or if you have any clout with them), lemme know! I'd love to do Tale Spin for them. Jymn" A shame I didn't reach him earlier! I sure wrote him down a list of the contacts I know about (you can see my answer on this Facebook page he set up two months ago : www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Jymn-Magon-Presents/116454455062294?ref=ts) Now with Jymn's support, they HAVE to do it, right?

I have a few french Talespin comics that were never released in the USA. So yes, it's certain they could do it.
