Well, actually...I would be very surprised if they DID release a volume 3. Considering the (apparently) low sales of the first volume, it's already a miracle they came out with the second.
It's been more than a year since they released the 2nd, and there are only 11 episodes left - not sure if they're really interested in bringing up something for only that. It seems that none of the Disney Afternoon series got all of their episodes released...
That's a shame of course, but I know how companies work. And it's a vicious circle : as long as the sales are low, they won't make any efforts to promote it, so the sales stay low...
Maybe they will consider making a Bluray release for example in a few years, with all the episodes in one package...
So unless they decide there is potential for a "reboot" of this series, it will stay that way. I think it's to us fans to show them that there IS a potential they're wasting. I'm still looking for a good solution to show them, though...My websites are part of it. (it's the same problem with Balto, An american tail and all of Universal's animated films, for which they make very low efforts)
It's still very hard for me to understand why Disney is considering their TV series so badly, when they make incredible efforts with the releases of the animated films and keeping them into general cultural memory! To me they're about the same quality, so why do they keep thinking only the animated films deserve these efforts?...
Even I who is very interested by traditional western animation, made this mistake of thinking that their series were sub-par compared to the films, when now I believe TaleSpin is better than almost everything they have ever made, including the films...

Maybe some of you already know about it, because I posted this on High Flight message board and a few other places. But... I have started a TaleSpin site, which aims at offering everything a fan can ask for : fanarts, fics, videos, articles, comics, shout boxes, forums etc... It's a site where members can directly participate by posting messages and content. I will even include a gamebooks section soon! Anyway, here it is : www.animationsource.org/talespin/en/I really think the site could become as successful as my Balto site (that's another animated film that deserves to be more known...) which currently gets around 2000 visitors each day And before you ask : if I do all this, that's because I love the show and I am really looking forward to hear other opinions and everything that can be said about it AND the second reason is that I hope to get more people attracted to the show, because it definitely deserves it!

I was just about to ask if it would be possible for that member to scan the comics when I noticed that...I already have it. I don't know if we're talking about the same member, but 0x7B sent me all the official 7 (+4) "limited series" TaleSpin comics scans, and Long Flight Home is part of them. (I haven't read it yet!) I'll post it on my site soon, so that everyone can read it
